Chief Executive Officer
Kai Fox is a sophomore at American University majoring in Communications, Law, Economics, and Government. Before taking over as chief executive officer, he helped found the Students for Free Expression chapter at AU and served as its vice president. He honed his political communications skills as a fellow at Mothership Strategies during the summer and fall of 2018. In March of 2019, he was one of only eleven students accepted to the highly exclusive American University School of Public Affairs’ Honors Program.
Under Kai’s leadership, Students for Free Expression is pursuing 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in the District of Colombia. After securing nonprofit status, he hopes to spread the new organization’s message to campuses across the country. As a nonpartisan movement driven primarily by students, Kai sees Students for Free Expression growing into the premier force for free speech on American college campuses.
